Research Summary - Animal models

Our group’s research interests are focused on the generation and analysis of mouse models for brain disorders.

The key areas of interest where we have developed expertise are:
Animal models for Autism and Alzheimer’s disease
Animal models developing under prenatal or acute impaired trace metals homeostasis

We have developed expertise in the analysis of mice regarding: Behavior, Histology, Biochemisrty, Microbiome, GI tract, Biometals

Current projects:
Characterization of prenatal and acute zinc deficient mice.
